Penang Trip with Siblings...

I was having bad days for couple weeks ago.

Bad days at workplace, lacked of motivation and my illnesses...cold, coughing non-stop, fever...aghh totally insanely terrible days!

But my last weekend turned out to be the remedy for all the bad lucks (exclude the illnesses part).

What else could ever made me more happier than a VACATION!

Ayuh, pack barang dan gerak ke Penang!

Penang

Our stay for 2n3d...

We arrived late, 3 a.m in the morning for checked in. We spent times with our parents at Puchong first (they just came home from Sri Lanka, pastu nak teruskan long honeymoon kat Kemoja pulak). That's the reason why we were late including "meraba-raba" tengah-tengah pagi buta cari jalan ke hotel dekat sejam!

What made this trip so much interesting...it's a first time trip by only us the siblings (exclude Shazzy yang tak dapat join). Plus it became much more exciting when all the trip expenses covered by our beloved abah! Mmmuuuaaahhh....thanks abah and sayang abah forever! ;) (Owhh...baru nak sayang abahlah!)

Nana's wedding, Enna's friend...

Anyway, we attended two weddings there, Enna's friend, Nana and our cousins, Marina. Luckily no so much of hassle finding the route to USM, where Nana got ready before heading to her husband's house nearby. Tapi, nak ke rumah Marina, aduhai...jenuh betul nak mencari rumah dia! Dengan tak ada mapnya, tak tahu jalan...clue yang ada hanyalah dia stay kat Penaga, sengal tak?

Berpegang pada prinsip "Just Damn Do It!", kita usahakan jua mencari jalan ke rumah Marina walaupun hampir-hampir jer hilang mood sebab asyik sesat jer sana sini. Tanya orang sana sini, tu belum silap masuk kampung yang ada 2 -3 weddings serentak dan membebel tak henti-henti dalam kereta sebab ada orang tu (orang yang duduk paling belakang dalam Unser) confirm gila-gila tu kampung Marina (sebab dia pernah datang dulu), padahalnya bukan! Eeeyy...nak kena pancung pun ada kang!

At last, alhamdulillah misi pencarian berjaya. Sempat jugak jumpa long time no see our three uncles, Mak Andak n Pak Andak dan sepupu-sepapat yang ada.

We end our short trip dengan jalan-jalan tepi pantai pada waktu malam, layan adik-adikku yang sengal, ambik gambar posing sana posing sini. And, before heading home the next day, singgah for lunch at Transfer road, apalagi kalau tak pekena sup tulang merah macaroni kat situ, yum!

About heading home, oh no...highway jam yang teramat! Lupa pulak pergi time cuti sekolah, huh tension tul! Setiap kali singgah kat R&R, punyalah ramai umat manusia, dah agak dah balik nih mesti aku kena wabak penyakit nih. As a result, kena demam seminggu, ambik kau!

Jom Heboh, Bukit Jalil, 11 - 12 December 2010...

Jom Heboh kembali lagi!

Kali ini di Bukit Jalil, buat kerja part time kitaorang for 2 days. Siapa yang pernah ke Jom Heboh, mesti tahu jalan mesti confirm jam. Tapi Bukit Jalil punya jam, aduyai...punyalah teruk, jangan harap nak dapat parking kat area stadium!

Demi tugas yang diberikan, kami gighkan jua berjalan beribu batu untuk mencari rezeki. ;P

Workshops, Chicken Claypot and Mee Goreng Mamak...

As an employee in an organization, attending training workshops, seminars or conference is a must. Yea...kita mesti biasa dengar for upgrading knowledge and skills lah, networking lah, penuhi KPI lah. Kalau workshop FOC, lagi besh sebab makan pun FOC!

About the workshops, huh...sapa kata besh pergi workshops? Kejap-kejap belek jam, ishhh...kenapa la jam aku lambat tul gerak hari nih. Paling boring if the training sampai 2 hari atau seminggu...argghh....malasnyer!

So, last Nov & Dec, untuk memenuhi KPI , myself & Enna for end of the year, we attended two workshops. The first intention, of course to fulfill KPI (ni case tak pernah pergi training langsung dalam setahun), get attendance certificate, makan and blah.

However, these two workshops really changed our perception on many things! Since we are teachers and exposed to public speaking, handling students in class, so training kali nih memang sangat menarik, tak boring and we learnt lots of valuable things.

Fall In Love with Teaching

This one day training was conducted at Cyber on Friday. Sanggup lah kami berdua turun Cyber, alang-alang boleh terus cuti straight kan.

Trainer was Dr. Rodzelan from UPM. He was such a funny guy, shared lots of his experiences in education field, how to treat students with many kind of characters or how to make our classroom alive!

Teacher is an entertainer. Entertainer? Yup, a teacher must know how to entertain students. Macam-macam kita boleh buat. Bukan hanya duk tercegat kat depan bagi lecture. Just forget about all the rules, have fun with your students.

Definition of rich. How do we describe rich? Money? That's how we describe rich? Rich can be anything. He said, he is rich coz sampai sekarang dia still ada parents untuk dia jenguk kat kampung, ada wife and childrens.

Grades. Is it important to you? Do grades equal to brilliant or success? Dan macam-macam lagi cerita, nasihat yang diberi. Macam mendengar seorang ayah bagi nasihat kat anak pun ada.

Wow, apa itu CHAMPS? The program was basically on how to be a good trainer. If nak adapt for our own classroom, to our students pun no problem.

P - Practicing Training Tools & Techniques

S - Summarizing Training Session

Rather than talk, talk, talk all the day, our training class turned as a playground. Playing lots of interesting games, buat blood-circulation exercise, playing jokes, brain-teaser, riddles...memang best sangat!

Food, Food, Food

Ok, nih entry tambahan untuk memanjangkan entry pada hari nih. So, layan...

Chicken Claypot kat Jusco, Ayer Keroh. Dah banyak kali makan, baru nak letak gambar, sebab rasa macam cantik je shot yang kita ambik...heee!

Mee Goreng Mamak. Hey tolong yer, masak sendiri tau kat Puchong. Sampai dua kali masak sebab Enna kesedapan sangat. Bayangkan Enna breakfast, lunch and dinner benda ni saja the whole day!

Mee Goreng Mamak Sempoi

Bahan-bahan:

Bawang Putih

Cili Padi

Daun Kari

Isi Ayam

Sos tomato

Cara-cara:

1. Tumbuk bawang dan cili padi.

2. Tumis No. 1 sampai wangi, masukkan isi ayam biar separuh masak.

3. Then masuk kicap, sos tomato dan daun kari.

4. Masukkan mee, kacau sebentar. Rasa tawar, masuk garam sikit.

5. Masukkan telur kat tepi, dekat separuh masak, gaul dengan mee.

6. Siap! Ngap!

Ting tong! Anybody home?!...huhhu...eeee...sekarang ni susahnya nak cari mood untuk berblogging. Free time memang ada berlambak-lambak, tapi banyak dihabiskan dengan family, sekejap turun JB, then turun Puchong, jalan sana, jalan sini, shopping sana, shopping sini. Memang betul-betul free tu!

No long post for today entry. Hey not to forgot,...Salam Maal Hijrah to all Muslims. To mention my new hijrah, emmmm...nothing extravaganza. Pray to Allah for a stronger heart to myself and my family throughout the up and down journey of our lives. Always think positive and seek for any good opportunity to improve ourselves, doing good to others and have a great and wonderful life with the loved ones!

The simple black shoulder handbag and purse for match...

Currently, CnK are having offer up to 50% for this Christmas season. But, the day we went there were few weeks before. So, only selected items were on sale. Mine, the shoulder bag was 40% off and the purse was 30% off. Great right?!

There is one white carry bag,....you know I love and craze for white stuffs. Tapi tak ada offer lagi. So, tomorrow nak pergi MidValley, tengok dah ada offer ke belum for Christmas. ;)

Lebanese

"Abang Ram, lebanese cheese dua dan lebanese chicken cheese dua", order Enna kat Abang Leban. Hahahaa! Aktiviti membeli roti lebanese nih dah setahun sebenarnya. Sejak stay kat BBI, tepi 7-Eleven kat rumah ada kedai mamak kat situ, Gulf. Boleh kata, hampir tiap-tiap minggu mesti pergi beli.

So, kira dah setahun jugak Enna ada affair dengan abang Leban kat situ. Dulu, abang Leban berjanggut tebal dan berkopiah putih ada skandal ngan Enna. Tapi sejak Abang Ram, abang Leban yang baru ambik alih tugas abang Leban dulu, huh...dia buat roti lebanese lebih besar dan mantap dari yang dulu! Yum...yum..yum!

Apa itu roti lebanese? Ini pun kebetulan ternampak, ada international student beli kat situ. Roti yang digunakan adalah roti yang sama untuk buat naan, cuma dibentukkan panjang-panjang dan ada filling.

Harga untuk cheese with black sesame hanya RM2 satu. So, gambar kat atas tu dah dipotong dua. Dan yang chicken (chicken tandoori cincang) with cheese hanya RM3 satu. Apa yang buat roti ni best adalah cheese yang digunakan iaitu Fetta Cheese. Rasanya creamy dan masam-masam, memang sedap sangat.

Satu batang cheese dan satu batang chicken dah di ngap oleh kami...

Siapa yang selalu makan roti naan kat Zubaidah mesti pernah tengok kuah cicah warna hijau. Itu

memang our favourite. Nama kuah tu, entah apa, tapi warna hijau dan masam-masam. Sedap betul cicah untuk roti lebanese nih.

Korean Food

Before shopping for bags at CnK, we had dinner at MidValley foodcourt. Perasan tak gambar kat bawah, yang mama and Enna berbaju kurung, abah berbaju batik? Baru lepas balik kenduri kahwin sebenarnya.

Makan...makan...makan lagi...

We tried two Korean dishes there for a change, Bibimbap and Grilled Sanma Fish or Kongchi Fish. Bibimbap is a popular Korean dish. Bibimbap tu dalam bahasa Korea means "mixed rice". Bibimbap tu ada nasi putih, daging cincang, beberapa jenis sayuran dan telur goreng kat atas. Kalau nak makan cara orang Korea makan, kena gaul semua sekali dalam mangkuk tu.

Bibimbap = Mixed Rice = Not My Favourite. Huhuhu!

Grilled Sanma Fish = My Favourite

Sanma Fish (called in Japan) or Kongchi Fish (Korean) or Pacific Saury, the texture similar to mackarel tapi lebih sedap dan rasa berlemak. It is a seasonal fish dan harga pun memanglah mahal. Tak caya, boleh check kat Tesco. If nak makan sekali sekala boleh lah kot.

Rapunzel a Tangled Tale...

Owh...tangle...tangle...tangle! A movie must watch, full of laughter and emotion, great animated scene, adventurous, sweet and cute Rapunzel, sexy mama, the Gothel, aggressive Maximus, the palace white Horse, and silly yet charming Eugene, the thief at first and hero in the end!

The casts are Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), Zachari Levi (Eugene) and Donna Murphy (Mother Gothel).

Enna said this will be the last fairytale story made by Disney. If it's true, waaa....sedihnya. Kita dahla memang suka sangat cerita-cerita macam nih. Up to date, this is the most expensive animated film. I guess it's true coz, such as the character facial expression, lots of improvement dan kita belum tengok lagi dalam mana-mana animated scene. The graphic was awesome too!

I'm not going to spoil the mood for telling part of the story, just hurry up and buy the ticket now!
