2011, The Gullivers Travel,The Tourist & Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah...

First and foremost, I would like to wish a Happy New Year 2011, especially to my few private readers which including myself for sure...hahaha!

New Year Resolution? Hmmm......kalau nak diikutkan hati, banyak perkara untuk direalisasikan sepanjang tahun baru ni.

As what Enna said, just hope for a more meaningful life this year. ;)

And, the night before New Year, sempat keluar ngan Enna and few friends jalan-jalan kat Pavillion.

We had our dinner there, pusing satu Pavillion, snap pic sana sini sampai penat dan sebagai penutup watch one movie, Gullivers Travel, lakonan Jack Black.

Story line not bad, cuma ada certain scene macam bodoh jer sampai terlelap coz boring sikit. And, part ending macam something wrong jer...kitaorang macam "hah camtu je ker?"

So, Gullivers Travel rating...3 stars. Sorry to say.

Yeahh...the most highly recommended movie! Mesti tonton! Minggu ni, dah 2 kali pergi tonton ngan Enna.

It's kinda thrilled love story movie, with beautiful sceneries and of course siapa tak suka tengok si jelitawan, Angelina Jolie dan si handsome Johnny Depp!

For those yang expect more stunt scenes, just forget about it. Cerita ni banyak bermain dengan dialog-dialog yang lucu, watak Johnny Depp yang macam bodoh semacam dan Angelina...pergh...dengan body languagenya, renungannya, baju-baju nya yang marvellous....haihh...kena pergi tengok sendirilah yer!

Rapunzel a Tangled Tale...

Owh...tangle...tangle...tangle! A movie must watch, full of laughter and emotion, great animated scene, adventurous, sweet and cute Rapunzel, sexy mama, the Gothel, aggressive Maximus, the palace white Horse, and silly yet charming Eugene, the thief at first and hero in the end!

The casts are Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), Zachari Levi (Eugene) and Donna Murphy (Mother Gothel).

Enna said this will be the last fairytale story made by Disney. If it's true, waaa....sedihnya. Kita dahla memang suka sangat cerita-cerita macam nih. Up to date, this is the most expensive animated film. I guess it's true coz, such as the character facial expression, lots of improvement dan kita belum tengok lagi dalam mana-mana animated scene. The graphic was awesome too!

I'm not going to spoil the mood for telling part of the story, just hurry up and buy the ticket now!

Eeee...geram betul tengok Rapunzel nih. Eugene pun sampai nak kiss sebab geram sangat kot tengok kecomelan Rapunzel...hihihi!

Movies of the week!

Dalam kesibukan menyiapkan exam paper di siang hari, di waktu malam kita sempat rehatkan minda menonton movies sekejap.

You Again, memang filem yang dah lama ditunggu-tunggu oleh kami. It is a comedy film, starred by Kirsten Bell as Marni who hated so much her high school life as frequently been bullied by other girls. As she grown up and become successful in her career, the highschool nightmare came back when she realized her big brother is going to marry with the girl who bullied her in highschool. Apa yang berlaku selanjutnya kena pergi tonton sendiri, ok!

The second movie memang last minute plan. Overall, yeahh it was a nice movie to watch. It is a romantic comedy starred by Katherine Heigl as Holly and Josh Duhamel as Messer. They are best friends to a couple who got married and had a baby daughter Sophie. Unfortunately, Holly and Messer are not that kind of "best friends" but what they do have in common is their love towards Sophie. Keadaan jadi huru-hara when both of them need to be Sophie's legal guardian after her parents died in a car accident.

Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak 2

Last weekend, sempat tonton JPBC2 at MidValley. Jalan cerita memang kelakar. Watak Kutu sebagai bomoh Wak Ketari memang menjadi habis dengan gayanya tak berbaju dan "berbedak ruam" sana sini.

JPBC2 adalah continuation dari JPBC yang dahulu. Tentang ilmu saka Pak Sudir yang diturunkan kepada cucu-cucunya.

Overall, lakonan pelakon-pelakon lain not bad jugak. Memang tak menyesal untuk tonton movie ni. So, overal rating, kita bagi 8/10.

Dan, last week after karaoke kat MP Melaka, sempat tonton tamil movie, Enthiran. Bile beratur nak masuk panggung, segan pun ada sebab kita and Enna jer yang macam lain dari yang lain...huhuhu! Filem ini hanya disarankan kepada peminat Aishwarya Rai sahaja yer.

Walaupun filem tamil dan 3 jam, memang tak terasa langsung sebab jalan cerita yang pantas, menarik, penggunaan banyak technology dan choreographer lagu-lagunya memang lah cantik dan meletop!

Filem ini mengisahkan seorang saintis (lakonan Rajinikanth) yang berjaya mereka robot seperti manusia dan diberi nama Chitti. Aish, cam biasalah jadi girlfriend saintis tu. Chitti ada kebolehan untuk buat segala benda. Cakap jer apa yang kau nak dia buat dia boleh buat. Contoh nak suruh dia masak makanan macam restoran 5 star, menari, lawan kungfu atau tolong korang jawab paper exam, semua boleh.

Overall filem nih, memang best sebenarnya. Suka betul tengok Aish dalam cerita nih, terutama part lagu-lagu. Kira dasyat juga costume, makeup yang dikenakan dalam movie nih. I Like!

Grown Ups & Step Up 3...

We had 2 movies marathon last week, Grown Ups and Step Up 3.

For Grown Ups, my first thought about the storyline would be about these 5 best friends who had grown up but yet still act childish and do lots of crazy stuffs. Well, I was wrong!

The story was quite interesting though some of the plots quite boring and it's merely about family relationship and long lasting friendship.

My favourite scenes were the "shift" scene and the "arrow shoot" scene. Memang terbelahak ketawa tak henti-henti. And, the "Hollywood" kids asking for "Voss" and "Godiva", which kind of teasing those Hollywood celebrities' kids.

Grown Ups Trailer...

Overall, it's not bad at all. But the "milk" scene tuh macam menyampah je tengok sebab banyak sangat plot tu diulang-ulang and cam tak suitable jer for letting the kids to watch that part.

Step Up 3

Recommended to those yang suka menari dan suka tengok orang menari. The plot biasa jer, cam dah boleh predict what happen in the end. But I'm not sure whether the previous Step Up movies had combination of other dances such as Ballroom and Broadway tho the main dance to focus in the movie was the rapping one (not sure the correct words to describe, tapi faham lah jugak sikit-sikit jenis-jenis dance lepas tengok So You Think You Can Dance). So, maybe that's made something different for Step Up 3.

The actors and actresses in the movie. Moose (Adam G. Sevani), the one who hold the street lamp. He's so good in dancing. And, the hottest couple in the movie Luke (Rick Malambri) and Natalie (Sharni Vinson).

The ballroom and final dancing scenes were my favourite. Semua scenes between Natalie and Luke were my fav as well...;)

Since tengok petang, weekdays pulak tu, orang pun tak ada, so adalah empat orang gadis nih bila nampak jer Luke keluar, tersenyum lebar, kepala focus jer kat screen tak nak lepas satu saat pun menatap wajah tampan Luke.

Ini ayat dari Enna. "Dahlah handsome, charming, baik pulak tuh...nih yang buat aku tak boleh tengok lelaki cam nih."

So, demi korang (termasuk aku...hihihi!) yang minat gila kat Luke (selepas Edward in Twilight) atau nama sebenar Rick Malambri nih, aku pun post zoom pic yang baik punyer (di bawah) untuk tatapan kita di waktu lapang...huhuhu!

...nangis and patah hati bila tahu Rick dah ada wife yang cantik jelita, Lisa Mae! Ala sedihnya! She is also an actress and a model.

Though Rick tak show lots of dancing movement in the movie, tapi his appearance memang dinanti-nantikan oleh kami semua! Hahaha! Gatal nak mampos!

Tekken...

This is the Tekken movie that I mentioned on my previous post. Nak tahu jalan cerita, tengok je trailer kat Youtube ke, tak pun google for synopsis or review oleh orang lain (dah tahap malas nak taip panjang-panjang).

To those suka main game Tekken dulu-dulu, memang disyorkan tengok movie nih. The plot was quite interesting. The fighting scene, rasanya superb and tahap ganas melampau (opinion dari perempuan ayu macam aku ler...hihihi!).

The main hero, Jin Kazama (Jon Foo)...ooohhh, first movie intro nampak jambu je budak nih. Masuk je fighting scene, ternganga jap tengok dia berlawan. Then, couple lak dengan Monteiro (Kelly Overton) berbaju dan berseluar "tali barut". ;)

Other casts (who have relationship with Jin) are Kazuya Mishima (Ian Anthony Dale) and Heihachi Mishima (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa).

Socerer's Apprentice, Salt, Inception & The Last AirBender...

Yup, 4 movies this week! Highly recommended was Socerer's Apprentice starred by Nicholas Cage (Balthazar) and Jay Baruchel (Dave Stutler). The story started with zaman dahulu kala ada seorang tok guru nama Merlin with these 3 anak buah or apprentices (Balthazar, Veronica & Horvath) .

Then of course mestilah ada something evil going on, kalau tak apa yang best nya kan. So, there was a kind of evil spirit name "The Rising" by this wicked witched, Morgana.

Dave pulak dalam cerita nih, was in today world, a scientist student and memang tersangatlah hebat dalam fizik kononnya. He later found out that he was the Prime Merlinian who could fight Morgana and saved the world.

For more details, kena pergi panggung yer. All the actions, magics, comedies were so awesome! Confirm tak tidur punya lah. All parts in the movie were my favourite scenes and the best among the best of course the car chasing scene. Mantap! Kalau ajak tengok kali kedua memang pergi rasanya...hihihi!

For the Angelina Jolie die-hard fans, mesti pergi tengok movie nih. Some people said her stamina was not that energetic in the movie, tak ada plotlah and macam-macam. For me, as I'm not a die-hard fan of her, but love to watch her look. I mean forget about her beauty, I like to see the way she speaks, she walks, the way she stares at someone, so sophisticated.

Salt? Not bad at all. Angelina as Evelyn Salt the CIA agent was accused of being the Russian spy. So, the movie is all about her journey to clear her name and search for her true identity. In her 30 plus, she still look good but she is too skinny I guess. And, ada some action parts macam tak logic jer bila tengok.

Rating: 4 stars!

Inception! Another must watch movie. It's not a leisure kind of movie, coz you need to perah otak sikit to understand the story and very thrilled. Kena pay full attention to the movie, coz terlepas pandang certain parts, memang confirm dah tak faham jalan cerita. Memang best coz it was a journey on entering human mind through their dream. Just imagine what happen when you enter into someone dream, play with person's dream and plus enter into another person's dream in that dream and seterusnya. Creative bukan?

Leonardo DiCaprio (Cobb) was the leader of the "dream team". But what I like most was Ellen Page character as Ariadne who was the engineer to visualize the dream. She was so young, but she able to play her role amazingly. My favourite scenes were the last one hour where the team needed to settle the "game dream" and wokeup before it's too late. So, the question is whether you want to live in a dream or reality?

The Last AirBender. Ermmm...my first impression on the poster would be, wow mesti best cerita nih. Yes, the idea of having this universal power from water, air, fire and earth together was great and having the Avatar (the airbender) to control or master all the universal power. Avatar been chosen from specified cycle from the four elements just now. So, now is the turn for air to find the avatar to balance the world.

Disappointedly, the plot entahlah macam hilang arah. The technology was there, the fight and lot of beautiful sets but yet fail to give any impact to the audience. So, apalagi, separuh jalan dah terlelap. Sorry, not a great movie at all.

My Day and Eclipse Premier...

Date: 8/7/2010, day: Thursday. Morning, lecture from 8 a.m - 1 p.m. Zzzzz....at 2 p.m - 3 p.m. Wakeup call from Enna..."Izza, jom kita pergi tgk Eclipse kul 4, aku dah free nih..." Yeayyy!!!! Tanpa berlengah-lengah lagi, lepas sembahyang off to MBO.

Glanced at my watch..."alamak sempat ke tak nih, dah dekat kul 4". Sampai kat ticket counter, ahhh...nice, nice dapat sit untuk view cantik, movie pun tak start lagi.

Rating view out of 5......mmmm.....5 stars!

The story plot...mmm...nice tak meleret-leret. All the expected scene or must have scene were there such as the proposal scene and my favourite scene for Eclipse, the tent scene! And, there's another scene yang menarik, when Jacob carried Bella up to the mountain. Wooo.....I Like!

And, Jacob was so outstanding throughout the movie. He totally amazed! Taylor did a great job on Jacob's character this time. Enna pun dah fall in love with Jacob...huhuhuhu! Edward by Rob...mmmm...not bad....macam kesian pun ada coz need to fight for the one that he love with Jacob. Adalah few scenes showed Edward's face expression, macam orang frust menonggeng gitu. Bella by Kirsten....her performance cam biasa jer, not so much improvement.

Just a short synopsis, the story continues the triangle love between Edward, Bella and Jacob and for the first time werewolves and vampires work as a team to fight the newborn vampires. That's it, nak clear picture kena baca buku and watch the movie. ;)

Next, after movie (time nih muka tersengih-sengih sebab happy), we straight to Bukit Baru to pasar malam. Then, back to office, malam jaga periksa budak...haihhh penatnyer...sigh.

Balik rumah, terus boomm..and sekarang baru segar nak online jap....;)

So, to all the Twilight die hard fans, go and get your ticket now! Guarantee no disappointment!
