Chilli Crab vs. Barbie Dolls

Our house interior designer, Eva and Ken invited us to have dinner on the way to Pasir Gudang to eat fresh seafood. I forgot to snatch the photos of the food that we ate that night, totally heaven...yum..yum. Located at Kampung Orang Asli Moden, 4 kms to reach the place is quite wierd and scary when we drove in small dark forest and crossed the palm estate (biar betul Eva and Ken ni). However, we felt so relief to find the place at last. The most exiciting part where we could choose our seafood near the jetty. We had prawns, ketam bunga and merah, oyster, siakap and the best part was to eat siput tarik. I never ate that siput before. I managed to eat only two (yang lain2 dah lupa diri bila makan benda-benda besh camni...)My favourite was prawn nestum...simply delicious. I found the recipe (nanti upload ok) and will try to cook it at home. Abah ate a lot of crabs (takut jugak, dah la ada gout...abah kata fresh takpe...bedal aje, janji makan ubat balik nanti). The seafood were so delicious and sweet. Boboy try to eat the fresh oyster (last-last muntah balik...buat rugi aje), the oyster were extremely big and gorgeous, oh my... Pitty mama for unabled to join along. Takpe, we will come back soon!!! ............ Aikk...dah habis ke cerita, barbie doll tu apa hal lak? Hmmm...we were not only went there for dinner, siap ada sesi perkenalan dengan anak-anak dara Pak Rusli dengan anak teruna tunggal (family from Singapore who also our neighbour in Austin). Why barbie doll, you guess...he and his mom have collector edition of barbie dolls at their home!!! Boy=Barbie...what do you think guys? (Awwww.....nyah!!!). Full stop, no need detail explanations. Karang budak tu jumpa blog aku ni, mampus. The next day, we went to their house to see the barbie collections. For your information anak-anak, this is not ordinary barbies which sold at supermarket...we are talking about thousand-thousand of ringgit for the cost of one barbie. Wow!!! Its like staying in the barbie museum where you can see limited edition of barbie around the world that you never seen before. I'm so afraid to touch so long since its really really expensive. Mama cakap..."anak-anak mama pun mama tak beli macam ni, for his son dia boleh beli all those stuff, macam mana anak tak jadi macam tu". Well, whatever. They display the dolls everywhere in the living hall, bed room and tv area (malaikat masuk ke tak rumah ni, macam rumah berhala pun ada). Anyway, I feel so impress to see the collections, but for myself...no. The end.

My Family New House in JB

Just to show a few pictures of my family new heaven in JB. Currently, we are staying at Austin Perdana near JJ Tebrau area. There's a lot of stuff to do, to put in and hopefully we able to complete the house for this coming raya. I spend my "leave" days helping my parents to settle on buying some materials for the house. We went to choose the bricks for our fish pond and water feature and cabinet tv. I told my mama not to decorate anything in my room (akhirnya akan jadi guest room jugak..hihi). Abah style suka everthing cepat-cepat, kalau boleh in one day he want to complete the whole house (bingung kepala guer...). So, I thought of decorating the room "english style" which is my favourite theme. I want to do that concept in my office one day (sekarang tak sempat la busy mengajar and diajar). I had survey one of my favourite decoration shop at Plaza Alam Central SA.
For the first time my sisters and I went there, we all "gila sekejap"...hihihi. There's a lot of cute, sweet and beautiful things such as furniture, lamps garden accessories with affordable prices. Need to take more "leave" to go there...(cuti je memanjang). Wait for the latest look of the house soon. Bye...bye...

My Fashionable Stuffs

Girls, ladies or women love to look and feel beautiful. When people said " Wah, cantikla mekap you hari ni" you will automatically look at the mirror and watch at your face. I have some of my colleges that always comment (positive ehh...) on my makeup everyday eventhough I was just wearing eyeliner and mascara (nak cakap cantik tapi malu...hihi). That is normal to us and we are proud to be one of them. Don't you?
For me, during my student days I seldom use makeup. When I start working, I feel that I need to take care the outside personality and the inside as well. It is because you will feel confidence with yourself and people are confidence to deal with you.

Ok, I would like to share some of the stuffs that I cannot live without it everyday. So here they are:

My Pinky Sony Erricsson.

My Pink Pearl Compact Powder.

Currently I'm using Secret Eyeliner.

This Beauti Control Eye Pad was given by my mom. I love you mom.

To moisture your lips. I have 3 colours for this brand.

Some of the lipsticks that you can afford to buy.

The range of Beauti Control products for spa treatment.

My darling mascara. The most important "helper" for my eyes.

To scrub dead cells on your face.

The set of CNI that I've been using for many years.

To protect my skin from sunburn.

I also been using Baby Johnson Lotion and Powder after shower and currently I try the latest Nivea deoderant.
When you buy certain makeup or care products, make sure you use it everyday. So far, I never waste anything [kena jimat cermat kalau nak maintain cantik :)] when I spend on certain stuff. I will make it is functioning and not only for display.
So, girls, ladies and women out there what is your favourite stuff? Sayangilah barangan kecantikan anda...hihi dah merepek dah ni...peace.

Swimming, Aerobick and Jogging

From the title above, that was the activities that I used to do with my best friend (sapa lagi kalau bukan ibu any). However recently, busy with the works pile up (mcm tak betul aje..hihi)so both of us only have time to do our latest hobby on swimming. When I said to many people that we like swimming, some of them laugh at us. Kenapa salah ker? Kitaorg bukannya pakai bikini like Baywatch. We have our own muslimah swimming suit which we bought form D' Safa boutique. The price is reasonable and I really comfortable with the oufit.
Where do we swim? At my Ixora Apartment since it is free and its better to functionally use the facilities provided to the tenants. Before we used to swim at Melaka public swmming pool. So far, I have the basic skill to swim since I learnt it when I was in Standard 1.

Enough on swimming part, if aerobick and jogging we always go to Hutan Rekreasi near Ayer Keroh and Bukit Serindit. We like aerobick part where we can dance the "pocho pocho " style and its really enjoyable and fun too.

So, who says I didn't care of my own health? Walaupun I ni memang suka makan (tgk size badan la), I will spend time on doing this recreation things to overcome my stress, pressure, tiredness...you name it. Swimmming helps me a lot to overcome those problems, since you are in the water you feel relax, calm and as a remedy for your soul, mind and etc.

Keep up healthy lifestyle !!!

Izza Rusli Nasi Tomato

I never thought of publishing my own recipe creation to the public before. Until one day, my sis ask how to cook "Nasi Tomato" for her Cyberpreneurship Week. She wanted the detail steps and at last I came out the detail recipe that never been created before (I guess) by anyone else. If you read the recipe, its quite funny the way I explain each step. My sis said "Orang yang tak reti masak pun boleh masak macam ni." [Poyo aje:)]
Whatever, here I introduce the first recipe of my own creation. The photo is not available but I will post one my own real cooking photo. Tak main la copy photo org lain.

Nasi Tomato
Untuk masak satu periuk nasi biasa kat rumah yang dah berkeluarga.

Bahan-bahan:

*4 cawan beras – bersih dan toskan)
( so air nanti kena guna cawan atau gelas yg sama ketika sukat beras, 2 cawan = 3 cawan air so 4 cawan = 6 cawan air)
Tips: Kalau guna beras yg jenis keras sikit, kena tambah sikit air. E.g: 2 cawan = 31/2 cawan. Kalau beras jenis lembut sikit, takpe maintain je mcm biasa.
So, air ni bukan setakat air kosong je sebab nanti kita akan guna susu cair so sukatan susu cair kena kira sekali dalam 6 cawan tu.

* 1 cawan susu cair ( so 6 cawan – 1 cawan susu = 5 cawan air kosong)
Tips: Untuk mengelak nasi cepat basi gunalah air masak yg of course sudah dimasak..heheh)

1 tin sederhana tomato puri (guna semua sekali)

1 sudu besar serbuk kurma (Kenapa guna serbuk kurma? Jika hanya guna tomato puri semata-mata membuatkan nasi tu bila dimakan cepat muak. Kurma akan menaikkan aroma dan rasa nasi tomato tu)

2 helai daun pandan

2 biji bawang besar warna merah – hiris nipis2( bawang ni murah sikit), kalau guna bawang merah yg kecil2 tu ambik byk sikit dalam 10 biji. Yang bawang besar kuning tu ok jugak tapi tak sebest mcm bawang merah. Bawang merah lebih manis.

4 ulas bawang putih – hiris nipis2

1 1/2 inci halia – hiris nipis2 memanjang

1 btg kulit kayu manis yg besar, 2 kuntum bunga lawang & 3 biji buah pelaga

1 biji buah keras – cincang halus (yang ni optional, kalau tak nak bubuh pun takpe sbb ada sesetgh org tak suka. Ia untuk melemakkan lagi rasa nasi tomato ni)

2 sudu besar marjerin ( kalau nak guna minyak masak, minyak ghee pun boleh)

Garam dan serbuk perasa

Cara- cara untuk memasak:

1. “On” kan periuk nasi anda. Masukkan 2 sudu besar marjerin, dah cair masukkan bawang merah, putih, halia, buah keras dan tumis sekejap dalam seminit.
2. Then, masukkan kulit kayu manis, bunga lawang dan buah pelaga. Pastu tumis lagi sampai kekuningan.
3. Then, masukkan serbuk kurma (tak payah bancuh) kacau hingga sebati, pastu masukkan tomato puri. Kalau pekat bubuh air sikit je.
4. Dah gelegak sikit masukkan beras yg dah dibasuh. Kacau perlahan2 biar sebati.
5. Then, bolehlah masukkan 5 cawan air masak, susu cair 1 cawan, garam, serbuk perasa dan daun pandan. Kacau lagi biar sebati. Pastu tutup tudung periuk.
*Tips: Nak tahu nasi tu cukup masin ke tak rasa bancuhan tu sikit. Kalau rasa tawar tambah garam sikit lagi. Hati2 jgn terlebih garam. Kebiasaannya saya bubuh dua sudu kecil garam dulu untuk 2 cawan beras. Kalau tawar baru tambah.
6. Kebiasaanya periuk nasi elektrik ni dia cepat je jadi “warm” walaupun nasi tak masak lagi. Jgn risau, biarkan aje warm sebab ketika itu nasi still tgh masak.
9. Bolehlah dihidangkan dengan ayam masak pedas, daging kurma ke, masak rending ke, kuah dalca, timun cuka ke, ikan masin, atau apa2 saja yang anda suka. Juga lebih enak dimakan begitu sahaja! Selamat Mencuba!
10. Dah cuba, jangan lupa untuk saya sepinggan ok!

MMU Awards 2008 at Seri Negeri, Melaka

Since I had nothing to do last night, so I've decided to follow my third sister, "Eena" (thats what the MCs said) to see her performance at Seri Negeri. She came all away from Cyber and need to spend many hours for last minute rehearsal (buat setakat yg termampu la Ena..."), that terribly exhausted. There were many categories of awards which I considered great in order to appreciate all the hardwork distributed by the MMU students.

Ena and I posing next to MMU Awards banner

The event overall was not bad, although we were unsatisfied with the food being served (kalau setakat bayar RM18, jgn nak komen byk2!!). Tomyam Klasik is a nice place to go and dine for, however when it comes to catering service, everything was spoilt. They need to learn more I supposed in order to be a good caterer. The best part, bila food tak cukup (no refill food), our friends went to the next table which not yet been seated and took all the food on that table. Dasyat betul korang yer.
Some performances that I love to watch were, of course my sis Ena with "Memory" from Barbara Streisand (I'm not sure with the title) and "MMU Permata Dunia" together with the MMU Chinese Ochestra.

Eventhough it was a small event, I enjoyed the show and able to meet some of the people that I was familiar with (yg ramainye kwn2 Ena je lah yg muka2 kite familiar). From 5 stars, I give 3 stars for the show last night. ~Peace~
