Tiring Days and Latest Addiction...

We (family and I) spent last few days at KB to see our house there. Most of the time I spent my days at my home, tidur je memanjang. Entahlah macam kena drug je bila sampai sana, tidur tak cukup-cukup. Mungkin dah lama tak jalan jauh. But, I still manage to go for a night drive around KB town, went to new KB Trade Centre and makan-makan.
Bab makan, tiap-tiap hari makan nasi jer kerjanya. Mananya tidak, pagi nasi kerabula, daganglah, berlauklah, Pastu tengahari makan nasi lagi, beli nasi kukus lah. Mana tak ngantuk je kerjanya.
But, the worst part when we were on the way back to KL, suddenly ada jam around Raub...haihh..ni yang paling aku tak suka...almost one hour trap in the jam (around 5 p.m) and Huda pulak rushing nak kerja malam tu (Wednesday). Ingatkan semua orang dah balik from holiday, hmmm....penatnya.

Not sure what is my plan for today. But right now, I am truly addict to Krispy Kreme Doughnut (KKD). We went to MidValley for a walk on last Saturday (one day before CNY). Macam biasa, my favourite floor is the ground one. And, we entered KKD for few doughnuts there. My current flavour is the glaze one. Kalau pergi JCo ke Big Apple ke, memang cari glaze dulu. Then, Enna introduced glazed vanilla cake and glaze chocolate cake doughnut. My first impression would be, eee..sedap ke...macam pernah makan yang Dunkin Doughnut punya...tak best langsung. By looking at the crackly shape of the doughut, huhhh...confirm tak besh nih. But, Enna asked me to try first. Waaa....! Sedaplah pulak! It is more towards "cakey" texture and very moist.
Then tiba-tiba teringat pernah tengok doughnut nih through AFC Channel under Chef at Home programme. The different between normal doughnut which I'm pretty sure there is no yeast added to the dough. Chef Smith (Chef at Home), showed how to make cinnamon sugar doughnut and I was a bit weird and curious, kenapa dia tak letak yeast. Senang pulak tu dia buat doughnut mixture. When he fried the dough, memang crackly look from the outside.
Hmmm...bestnya. Memandangkan tak guna yeast (sebab malas nak tunggu dough naik), tengah cari resepi untuk cake doughnut nih. Nak try buat sendiri. Aku nih, dah banyak resepi rasanya pending tak buat-buat. Tak pe, cari resepi dulu for inspiration. Itu penting...inspiration...hihihi. So, back to the story, memang nak makan that sugary dough tu lagi. Manis memang tak payah cakap. Teramat manis, especially the icing glaze topping. And, you are truly eating a "good" doughnut compared to other outlet coz doughnut dia "tebal" dan memang puas makan. Yum yum...maaflah takde gambar time makan sebab sekelip mata dah masuk dalam perut...blurrpp...alhamdulillah...hahaha!
