This should be the last week post, tapi that time mood memang tak ada langsung nak berblog. Maybe penat sikit kot coz of non-stop driving from JB - Melaka - KL - Melaka again.
And, alhamdulillah...last few days master resultku keluar. Fuhhh...lega betul akhirnya! So, this sem, I give myself a chance untuk relax-relax sikit, mengajar pun alhamdulillah nothing to pressure on, till at one time dah tak tahu nak buat apa kat ofis. Heee! Bagi can lah!
Thought of doing some cooking, so tengah membelek-belek, cari idea on simple recipes for me and Enna. Enna requested for kuih cara berlauk since raya puasa lagi, huhu...dah lama pun beli loyang kuih cara tu. Entah bila nak bergerak. Hopefully by next week my cooking mood is back.
Yesterday, sempat attend one of my ex-colleague's wed at Nilai and did some shopping at TAR. Congrats to Ru-z and hubby! Dah kenyang makan nasi minyak, ambik gambar ngan pengantin, terus balik Puchong, rehat jap dan keluar balik to TAR.
Tempat biasa dituju, semestinya Semua House dan jalanlah cuci mata kat gerai-gerai pasar malam kat luar tu.The girls bought few new clothes for work. Uishh...dah lama benar tak ke sana, lots of new trends going on.
Me as usual just bought things that I'm comfortable with. Searched for few slacks and blouses. Memang sekarang nih dah jarang nak nampak kelibatku berbaju kurung to office. Easier for me to move around anywhere. Fesyen tudung tak payah cakap lah, tudung rozita che wan lah, dan ada yang latest tudung yuna kot. Huda and Enna siap beli 4 helai tu, bergaya sakan lah korang yer.
Back to our actual topic of the day...boleh refer kat title entry hari ni...hahaha!
Enna had received an invitation from Karangkraf to do some photoshoot for NONA magazine 25th year celebration next year. They're searching for 25 years old girl (who born in 1986) for this coming January 2011 magazine. Apalagi, peluang jangan ditolak. So, off we headed to Karangkraf at Shah Alam (SA) last week.
The shoot supposedly started at 2 and we're still lost nowhere in SA searching for Karangkraf building at 1.30! Nasib baik the makeup lady patiently waiting for us. Membebel jugak dia nak kena buat makeup express for half an hour. While waiting for Enna, in the same studio sedang ada photoshoot for Pengantin cover magazine. Macam kenal jer budak nih, ohhh rupanya...Sheila yang masuk One in a Million tu.

Once done with the makeup, masuk studio sebelah (banyak studios kat situ), tukar baju segala bagai, baru nak pakai contact lenselah and wallah...siap! We just used the same dress for previous BIBH competition.
Ada lagi two girls came for the shoot. Diaorang dah pakai cantik siap-siap sebelum datang ke sana. Tinggal nak makeup je lah. Well, since kitaorang dah learnt from previous mistake at KL Hilton that day, we did pre-dress check kat rumah lagi, tak nak kelam kabut kat tempat/event tu nanti, and learnt to shorter the time for quick makeup ker, pakai baju, tudung, kasut and makesure semua dah check before the actual event. One of the reason, yes to organize everything nicely and importantly to ensure Enna less "gabra" tak tentu pasal sebab ni tak kena, itu tak kena (kalau dia gabra, lagi teruk kerja aku nak menenangkan dia ngan diri aku dari tension). Benda-benda remeh temeh macam nilah yang boleh merosakkan mood dan serba sedikit mencacatkan majlis/ kerja orang lain akhirnya.

Aku pulak kat belakang diaorang nih, terkelip-kelip mata bukan sebab jakun first time tengok photo shoot, tapi sakit mata oiii dengan lampu studio yang kuat dan flash dari camera tak henti-henti!
Now, since this was her first experience posed for magazine, nampak jugaklah ke-kekokkan kat situ. Huh kesian pun ada aku tengok Enna and other two girls tried their best to pose for the best shot. Bukan senang tau. Dah macam America's Top Model challenge pun ada. Nasib baik ada si Cik Anis, person in charge for the shooting that evening, taught few posing styles.

The theme was plain with a touch of silver. Agak-agak masuk tak? And alhamdulillah the shoot went on smoothly though beberapa kali Enna dipaksa bukak mata luas sikit bila senyum. Bila dah penat, muka pun boleh effect jugakkan, nampak penat sikit.
Gambar kenang-kenangan sebelum pulang...myself belakang tabir je lah yer. Muka time nih memang penat giler, malu nak join bergambar sekali...huhu...!
The shoot ended around 4 plus. Penat dan perut berbunyi minta diisi, singgahlah kat area Cyber for our late lunch. Bila sampai rumah, Huda made this delicious macaroni mushroom soup for us. Yum...yum!
Macaroni mushroom soup...
Senang jer nak buat walaupun aku tak pernah buat sendiri...hahah! Tengok the two girls buat adalah. There are many versions of mushroom soup. We love campbell soup so much, lebih-lebih bila cicah with garlic bread. Here is my version from what I've seen so far. Enjoy!
For the recipe, you need to have a can of mushroom campbell soup, some macaroni, diced potato in cubes, 1 table spoon of flour, butter, a clove of garlic (diced), fresh milk, salt and pepper.
Melt a bit of butter to soft the garlic, add flour and stir for for few seconds. Add milk, potato and macaroni. You may add some plain water for less milky texture. Milk and plain water depends on your potato and macaroni quantities. Back to back, kena pandai agak-agak. After macaroni half cook, add a can of mushroom campbell soup. Kalau pekat adjustlah dengan milk, air sekali lagi. I prefer mine not too runny not too thick. You may test the soup texture at the back of the spoon. If it is nicely coated, then it should be ok. Lastly, add S&P. For extra kick, may add shredded cheese or sprinkle some oregano dried herb. Srrppp...while hot!
